Additional Munster Qualifiers

Following withdrawals from some events the following athletes have qualified for the Munster Championships

Pobalscoil Chorca Duibhne

  • Róisín O Connor – Senior 100m

St Munchins

  • Aaron McNamara – Junior 800m
  • Rafael Zigpigan – Senior 100m

Ennistymon Vocational School

  • Jack Devitt – U16 Mile

St Anne’s Killaloe

  • Leah Farnan – Junior 1500m
  • Leah Farnan – Junior High Jump

Mercy Mount Hawk

  • Aoibheann O Brien – Junior Long Jump
  • Karina Quilter – Inter Shot

Glenstal

  • Charles Gavin – Junior Long Jump

St Mary’s Newport

  • Siofra Keane – Junior 200m

CBS Tralee

  • Adam Barrett – Inter 100m

Coláiste Chiaráin

  • Girls Minor 4 x 100m Relay

Track & Field Results 2012

The results for 2012 Track & Field Championships are available from the Results section on the website. Congratulations not only to all who won medals but to everyone who participated. Thank you also to all those who volunteered for the running of Championships  without whom nothing would happen.

Munster Championships:

  • First 3 in all events qualify
  • Minors events are 100m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot & Relay
  • Only 2 events + relay per athlete – I need to know which 2 events ASAP
  • Juniors may not compete in both 800m and 1500m – I need to know which one ASAP
  • If you cannot make it on the 19th – I need to know ASAP

 

Important information re: North Munsters

All hammer throwers must provide their own regulation hammer.

Only 2 athletes from same school per event

Only 2 events (+ relay) per athlete per day

First 3 in all events qualify for Munster Track & Field on 19th May

U16 Mile on Day 2 will be open for entries on the day.
